Morocco is accelerating the expansion of its regional logistics zones. In 2025, an envelope of more than 250 million dirhams will be devoted to the development of these facilities.

An envelope of 250,9 million dirhams (MDH) will thus be devoted to this project in 2025, according to the note on the regional distribution of investment accompanying the draft finance law. The Ras El Ma logistics zone, located in the Fez-Meknes region, is one of these projects. With a total funding of 300 MDH, this zone will receive 50 MDH in 2025 to accelerate its realization, which had reached a rate of 5% in June 2024.

The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, for its part, is banking on the development of the Kenitra area, covering an area of 45 hectares. With a total budget of 250 MDH, of which 45 million will be allocated for 2025, the project has already reached a completion rate of 10%.

In Casablanca-Settat, the economic hub of the Kingdom, the Ouled Saleh area covers 70 hectares, supported by a budget of 550 million dirhams. For 2025, an investment of 100 MDH is planned to continue the work.

The Beni Mellal logistics zone project, although more modest in terms of surface area (9 hectares), also constitutes a lever for regional development with a budget of 50 MDH, of which 10 million will be allocated in 2025.

Finally, the Aït Melloul area, in the Souss-Massa region, stands out for its advanced completion rate of 84%. With a total budget of 350 MDH and an allocation of 45,9 million for 2025, it is one of the most advanced logistics areas in the country, with expenditures already committed of 120,19 MDH.
